At long last! Etching has landed at Toogs Artist Workshop! - In this first all day workshop, you will be introduced to the alchemic world of copperplate etching and creating tone through rosin aquatint at Toogs Artist Workshop.

Gaada co-founder, Daniel Clark, will guide you through each step from plate preparation, applying a hard ground, safe etching practice, introduction to rosin aquatint, and of course printing your plate using the geared etching press!

Etching workshop is led by one of Gaada’s experienced printmakers and there are 4 spaces available.

What to bring?

All materials are included. You will be working on a 10cm x 10cm copper plate, so please bring some inspiration/sketches for your etching.

Please also bring a cold lunch, as we will break for lunch between 1-2pm. Hot drinks, and light refreshments are provided.

Who is it for?

This workshop is for ages 18+, no previous experience is required.
