What is a zine?
Zines (Pronounced ZEEN) are DIY publications.
They are rooted in a history of radical, political self-publishing and motivated by expression and sharing ideas rather than profit.
There are no specific skills required to make a zine, typically just a pen, some paper and an idea!
Self-published material blurs boundaries and the definition of zines continues to shift and grow. If you call your zine a zine it is one! There aren’t any rules!
