Hairst Work Share + Artist Lunch

You are invited to Gaada’s Hairst Work Share + Artist Lunch, taking place at the Toogs Artist Workshop, Burra.

12.00 - Shared Artist Lunch

Lunch will be Soup, Fresh Bread and Fancies. Gaada will provide the soup (vegan and gluten free) and we invite each participant to bring fancies, bread, cheese or your favourite dish to share!

Unlimited tea and coffee will be available.

1.00– Ink Making and collaborative drawing with Jenny Watt

In the spirit of Hairst, join us for a laid back drawing activity using ink made from locally foraged plants! Jenny will be making ink during the session a taking us through her process of creating pigments and inks from Shetland flora and fauna. We’ll use this ink to create a series of collaborative drawings.

This activity is open to all, no previous experience required.

2.30 - Work Share

As is now a firm tradition, you are encouraged to bring along a piece of work or spark/idea - it can be new or old, just something that you feel comfortable sharing with the group. The discussion is always friendly, respectful and encouraging!
