2022/23 Workshop Bursary Recipients
We are excited to announce the following recipients of the 2022/23 Gaada Workshop Bursaries:

⭐️ Laura Hughes
⭐️ Stuart Thomson
From our open call, we received 11 strong applications, which were a real testament to the incredible breadth of creative practice in Shetland. We had the difficult task of selecting just 3 recipients from this open call, which were Laura, Sammy and Stuart . We also welcome Elouise as a recipient after she was awarded a Workshop Bursary for her UHI Degree Show.
Workshop bursaries will enable each of these Shetland based artists to access specialist facilities and one-to-one support to explore new ideas and new ways of making at the Gaada visual art workshop in Burra.
Bursaries will take place throughout 2022/23 and we look forward to sharing more from these artists on the Workshop Bursary Page, as well as on Gaada’s socials and newsletter.
