Artist Talk: Deep Time Agency

Join us online for Gaada’s next artist talk by artists Miriam Sentler and Wouter Osterholt who will be telling us about their interdisciplinary research initiative Deep Time Agency.

DTA is an artistic initiative that recontextualizes archaeological objects in industrially changed landscapes.

By highlighting objects exposed by industrial excavations, we seek to develop a sense of belonging in the disrupted landscapes themselves and in the Anthropocene era.

There will be an artist Q&A following the talk, which will provide an opportunity to explore some of these ideas - particularly in the context of the dramatic change which is currently taking place across Shetland’s Peat land through the Viking Energy Windfarm development.

Tickets are free, but booking is essential (via link below)!
