Gaada's shading plates are a simple, fun, and addictive method of enhancing stencil artwork for both Risograph and Silkscreen printing techniques. Crafted with precision, Shading Plates are versatile and easy to use, enabling you to introduce subtle gradients and depth to your designs and elevate the visual impact of your prints!

Shading Plates have been a fixture within Toogs Artist Workshop for many years and bring joy to both novice and expert printmakers alike!

Instructions:

  1. Simply place your shading plate on a smooth flat surface and overlay your paper/positive material.

  2. Position the plate directly beneath where texture is to be applied.

  3. Rub the area with a soft grade pencil, or oil based crayon.

  4. Have fun!

Each plate measures 85mm × 205mm and are made using 100% recycled materials.

Designed and made in Toogs Artist Workshop, Shetland.
