Brian Sinclair exhibition at Da Haaf

Shetland artist Brian Sinclair, who attends weekly one-to-one workshops at Gaada, is exhibiting at Scalloway restaurant Da Haaf.

Brian is exhibiting a series of monoprint screen-prints at Da Haaf all of which were created at Gaada.

Brian is an artist who works across sound, printmaking, painting, and drawing. During his weekly sessions, Brian develops a curious creative practice that spans drawing, painting, and printmaking.

Brian uses sound to inform his interactions between different art materials and mediums, something that was explored earlier this year for his exhibition in Display. He listens to an eclectic range of music, and often uses a Dictaphone to forage for sound in his everyday life before responding to these recordings through a range of mark-making back in the studio.

If you’re in Shetland, be sure to stop by Da Haaf for a look!
