Gaada is delighted to present The Weather Man, a new exhibition by Shetland artist Robbie Burns.

Robbie’s drawing-based practice centres around measured and detailed line work with huge character! As well as a pen and ruler, Robbie works with Risography, Screen Printing and Letterpress, taking inspiration from memories and everyday characters from his life.

Over the past year, Robbie has been attending Gaada’s weekly workshops, where he has brought not only his creativity and enthusiasm but also the weekly weather forecast.

His exhibition celebrates the Weather Man and captures the joy in Robbie’s lyrical re-telling of the forecast each week.

The exhibition is accompanied by a new publication ‘The Weather Man’ available soon in the Gaada shop!

You can visit the exhibition outside Toogs Artist Workshop Tuesday - Saturday, until October 10th.

The flag raising will be on Thursday 14th August at 2pm.
